Roland DJ-505 - professional DJ controller with 2 channels, Serato controller with 4 decks, combining the advanced capabilities of Serato DJ with the sounds and sequencing of Roland TR-808, TR-909, TR-606, and TR-707 drum machines, making it ideal for DJs, live performances, parties, clubs, or bars. It features a built-in audio interface with a resolution of 24-bit/48 kHz, two master output sets including XLR and RCA connectors, while the booth output is provided via 2 balanced 1/4" jack connectors. Additionally, it has 2 headphone outputs with 1/4" and 1/8" connectors, allowing the use of two pairs of headphones simultaneously. Alongside all this, it includes a microphone input with a 1/4" connector, enabling the connection of a microphone or even an instrument, with effects such as gate, hi-pass filter, reverb, or echo available for use.
Using Analog Circuit Behavior (ACB) technology, this controller reproduces the sound and character of instruments such as bass drum, snare drum, closed hat, open hat, tom, rim, clap, or ride. It offers dedicated control knobs for level, attack, decay, allowing you to process the sound and tones used and reproduced.
The large diameter platters with low latency are optimised for scratching, and the 8 touch pads provide control for Serato DJ (full-version included) in several modes such as hot cue, roll, slicer, TR, pattern, or sampler. The integrated 16-step sequencer not only controls TR sounds but can also utilise the onboard Serato sampler. The unit also offers a standard 5-pin DIN MIDI output, allowing connection and synchronisation with other external equipment such as AIRA series instruments and effects.
Roland DJ-505 also includes the Serato Tool Kit license, which comprises Serato Pitch n' Time DJ, Serato Flip, and all Serato DJ FX packs. The system can optionally be upgraded to Serato DVS. It is delivered together with an AC power adapter, power cable, and USB cable.
