AKG C519ML is a clip-on microphone specially designed for wind instruments, as well as drums, percussion, and piano.
The AKG C519ML attaches to the bell of a trumpet, saxophone, trombone, tuba or any other wind instrument (e.g. didgeridoo). The microphone features a cardioid polar pattern, allowing the C 519 to be used quite close to stage monitors, and its linear frequency response provides a clean, natural, and powerful sound.
C 519 ML is a condenser microphone, which therefore requires power. It can be powered using the battery power supply B 29 L, the pocket transmitters from the AKG WMS series, or the MPA V L adapter for external Phantom Power (all mentioned are optional accessories - not included).
