I also had a Les Paul Standard from Epiphone. This model is pretty much the same, just cheaper. The classic problems are there: the B(5) string doesn't stay in tune well with bends, the nut isn't properly polished, the E(1) string has fret buzz and other small imperfections.. just like the Epiphones I've had (SG and LP standard). The pickups are different, but they sound good, the frets are OK, it's fun to play.. it's not overly heavy.. overall satisfied.
A very good instrument, especially for those who are into blues.
Once again, thanks to the consultants at soundcreation for the competent advice received when choosing the instrument.
