Tech 21 dUg Pinnick DP-3X - A super-compact adaptation of the head, Tech 21 Ultra Bass 1000, the DP-3X also recreates the sound that dUg Pinnick initially developed in the '80s, combining low-end bass frequencies with high-end distortion. Before the head's launch, achieving this sound required running a guitar amplifier and a bass amplifier together with a rack full of effects. Wanting to streamline his live gear for occasions when his complete Tech 21 setup wasn't practical, dUg collaborated with the engineers at Tech 21 to create the fully analog, robust, and extremely portable DP-3X pedal.
