Fender '68 Custom Princeton Reverb

1968 was a transitional year for Fender amplifiers, with a tone that was still pure Fender, but with a brand new look. With a silver and turquoise front panel and an elegant fabric trim for the aluminium 'drip edge' grille, the Princeton Reverb received a fresh face, as it remained the perfect amplifier for recording and concert. Small, lightweight and moderately powered, it produced a great tube tone, with world-class Fender reverb and vibrato effects. For countless guitarists since then, the Princeton Reverb has been the go-to amplifier for the classic Fender sound.

The '68 Custom Princeton Reverb pays homage to the classic look, sound, and performance of Fender's silver panel amplifiers from the late '60s. In a special twist, a modified tone circuit offers modern players greater tonal flexibility with pedals, and the reduced negative feedback of the amplifier provides greater touch sensitivity and a quicker onset of overdrive. The 10" Celestion® TEN 30 speaker in the '68 Custom Princeton Reverb also delivers a more distinct rock 'n' roll flavour.
