Superb Sound

When I got them (I already had the dt770 pro 80ohm), I thought there was no way it could be such a big upgrade, but I couldn't have been more wrong. The sound is clear and 'separated' in a certain way, you can feel they are open back, and honestly, the boost they have in the highs isn't annoying at all (I use them for mix mastering). I've read reviews saying they lack bass, well compared to my 770s, they are vastly superior in this regard. The sub is defined, not overly pronounced, but sounds just as it should for what they are made for. I highly recommend them for those who want to use them in the studio primarily, but they are also great if you're an audiophile looking for something in this budget.
