Built at a scale of 34 inches, these basses feature a swamp ash body, covered with solid bocote, a durable, beautiful, and sustainable tonewood, along with a five-piece wenge/purple heart neck with a pau ferro fingerboard. The B-1004 and B-1005 offer premium components, including high-quality tuners and bridge from Gotoh, but are highlighted by the inclusion of noise-cancelling Nordstrand Big Splits pickups, along with a 3-band EQ ABQ-3MS. This configuration provides incredible tonal flexibility, with an active/passive mini-switch, a mid-frequency selection mini-switch (800 Hz or 400 Hz), individual controls for bass, treble, and mid EQ, and master controls for volume and balance. Available in Natural Satin finish.
